The collaborators

Partners of PBTV.

A small group of independent businesses we work with closely. They show up in the shop, in our knowledge content, and on our shelves.

Synthminds

We make AI make sense. Pioneering AI, empowering businesses.

Synthminds bridges the gap between cutting-edge AI research and real-world business impact through consulting, education, design, and hands-on integration. They're the team behind PBTV's website, e-commerce stack, Square POS / Shopify / Etsy / Palmstreet sync, and the AI customer-service chatbot.

Their work spans four pillars — AI Consulting (strategic roadmaps), AI Education (seminars and structured courses), AI Design (UX, generative workflows, product interfaces), and AI Integration (architecture, deployment, monitoring). Trusted by teams at NVIDIA, PwC, Kraft Heinz, HP, and Upwork.

Founded and led by William ("Wes") Shields, an integration architect who joined Monica as a partner in early 2026 to bring the back-end of the shop up to the standard Monica had set on the floor.

Phytosynth Botanics trade-show display — rare tropical plants and orchids in custom 3D-printed vessels, including a textured cathedral-shaped planter and ribbed conical pots in cream and red. Phytosynth 3D-printed wall sculpture — densely packed cup-and-cone forms in a square frame, rendered in violet and blue with soft cast shadows.

Phytosynth Botanics

Biology, rendered.

Phytosynth Botanics designs living objects — rare tropical plants paired with 3D-printed vessels generated for each specimen. The innovative synthesis between nature and technology. Bringing the same pioneering ethos Synthminds brings to AI into the world of horticulture.

Unlike every other plant brand, they don't choose between organism and object — they design them together. For the rare-plant collector and design-forward homeowner, Phytosynth pairs collector-grade tropicals with bespoke 3D-printed planters engineered for each specimen. Because a Monstera Albo deserves a vessel that was designed for it, not a pot that happened to fit.

For people who see no contradiction between a love of wild living systems and a love of what computers can generate, Phytosynth Botanics is the living-design house where rare tropicals meet custom 3D-printed vessels.

Phytosynth is PBTV's exclusive provider of rare and unicorn specimen plants as well as our advanced-material 3D-printed planters. When you see a true rarity on the PBTV shelf or a specimen-fit planter at checkout, that's Phytosynth.

Sprig AI

A custom-engineered AI plant diagnostic tool.

Sprig is co-created by Synthminds AI and Phytosynth Botanics — part of the Synthminds AI family. Equipped with a custom-trained visual diagnostic model and a custom-refined plant care database, Sprig helps you read what your plant is actually trying to tell you.

It walks you through the toughest stretches of plant ownership — overwatering, underwatering, light-related stress, pests, repotting recovery, mineral burn — and even the most neglectful days, even though we know you don't mean it.

Sprig is available to PBTV Plant Fam members at the Canopy and Conservatory tiers. Snap a photo, describe the problem, and Sprig walks you through the diagnosis and the fix.
