Our Story
Plants by the Pool took root in the summer of 2020 while we were spending lots of family time outdoors—caring for our plants and enjoying the pool in the backyard of Mark and Marlene Wiggins. Along the way, we learned a lot about plants and experienced a few growing pains of our own. As our knowledge and confidence grew, so did our collection. What started as just a few plants to support our hobby quickly evolved into building a small greenhouse by the pool—and Plants by the Pool was born.
Our business began from a genuine love for a wide variety of plants. However, we noticed that it can often be difficult to find beautiful tropical plants at an affordable price. With that in mind, our goal became simple: to offer unique, fun, and healthy plants at fair prices, helping others grow their love for plants just as ours has grown—one plant at a time.
Today, we continue to nurture both our plants and our business, caring for the seeds we’ve sown and looking ahead to the future. Like the plants we grow, we are constantly learning, adapting, and thriving.
